5. Now take the pinned strip sets to your sewing machine & sew across each drawn line until you reach the end of the strip set. See Fig. 7.
6. Place strip set horizontally on your cutting mat with the first line of stitching (1 1/4" from edge of strip) on your left. Lay the 1/4" line of your  ruler on the stitching line and make a cut along the edge of the ruler *. This will leave you with a 1/4" seam allowance (See Fig. 9Make sure this cut is to the right of your stitching line :-)

7. Take these units (Fig. 9) to your ironing surface. Set your seams and then  press units open. See Fig. 10
Voila! You have made several four patch units in just a few minutes & they were easy peasy! See Fig. 11.

Continue across the strip, laying the 1/4" line of your ruler on each sewing line and making a cut separating each of the units. See Fig. 9.
