Stackable shaker boxes  (repainted my favorite green) store wool thread, embroidery floss and top stitching threads.

Unfinished wooden boxes (left) that I purchased and painted to make portable sewing kits for applique. The larger box has a beaded handle.

A sunny, quilty place to indulge in what I love to do!
Sewing cabinet was made by my husband several years ago as per my drawing - love it! My new pressing station consists of 2 drawer units and a book case. 1 drawer unit faces me when I'm at the machine & the other on the end faces out which has vintage thread spools from Australia for handles. They both hold necessities that I need close at hand.  My drafting table (above right) is perfect for designing patterns and art work.

A map chest (far left) stores large drawings, patterns, large graph paper, rulers etc. I can't live without it!

This small counter with storage below is perfect for assembling patterns.
My design wall consists of 2 layers of ivory fleece over foam board insulation  which works beautifully!

Miss Lucy's Cottage quilt is in progress on the design wall, but I can't show it just yet.
